Eligibility: Any Lion who completes the following requirements
between January 1 and December 31 of the same calendar year may earn the Golden
Chain award each year the Lion meets the qualifications.
Requirements: The Order of the Golden Chain contains two equally
important parts. Part I includes five activities which are mandatory. Part II.
Lists twenty activities a Lion may participate in. To qualify a Lion must
complete all five mandatory activities in part I and complete eleven of the
twenty options in part II. Completion of Part I and Part II on or before
December 31 qualifies the Lion for the award. The completed Affidavits must be
mailed to the District Chairman of the Golden Chain Award Committee - POST MARK
DEADLINE, JANUARY 31 of the year following qualification.
PART I. MANDATORY
A. A Lion must attend a minimum of 75% of their regular meetings during the
qualified period.
